Child Safety Standards
Last updated: September 2026
The Listener maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation ("CSAE"). This page describes our standards, how we enforce them, and how to report a concern. These standards apply to every user, listener, and participant across our app and website.
1. How We Define CSAE
CSAE refers to child sexual abuse and exploitation, including any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes, without limitation, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextortion of a child, trafficking a child for sex, and any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — any visual depiction involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
2. Age Requirement
The Listener is an adult peer-support and wellness platform. Use of our app and website is restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 to register an account, add wallet credits, or take part in any chat, voice, or video session on our platform. If we become aware that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will immediately suspend the account and remove associated access.
3. Zero Tolerance
We prohibit any content, communication, or behavior on The Listener that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and the sharing, solicitation, or promotion of CSAM in any form, by any user, listener, or other participant on our platform.
4. Enforcement
On obtaining actual knowledge of CSAE or CSAM connected to our platform, we act immediately and in line with these standards and applicable law. This includes suspending or permanently banning the account(s) involved, removing any associated content or access, and cooperating with law enforcement and relevant child-safety authorities where required.
5. How to Report a Concern
If you encounter or become aware of any content or behavior on The Listener that you believe violates these standards, report it immediately by emailing support@thelistener.in with as much detail as you can share — such as the user or session involved, the date and time, and a description of what happened. Reports can be sent from within the app (via your registered email) or from this website, and every report is reviewed with the highest priority.
